Dr Anna Kaltsas attended Albany Medical College followed by residency at NY Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center. She completed her infectious disease fellowship and Master's in Clinical Research at Albert Einstein and Montefiore Medical Center in NY. She has been practicing infectious disease at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer center for the last 15 years, and the last 10 of them she has also been program director of the infectious disease fellowship. Her clinical interests lie in the area of medical education and diagnostic stewardship, and her research interests lie in the care of solid tumor oncology patients including investigating the safety of probiotics and fecal transplants in recurrent C. difficile, risk factors and treatment outcomes of pubic osteomyelitis, and investigating risk factors for recurrent cellulitis in patients with recurrent lymphedema. She is currently Associate Attending Physician of Infectious Disease at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.
