Dr. Mary Joyce B. Wingler is a board-certified Infectious Diseases Specialist at the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) and Children’s of Mississippi. She holds a faculty appointment in the Department of Medicine-Division of Infectious Diseases and serves as the Residency Program Coordinator for UMMC’s PGY2 Infectious Diseases and PGY1 Pharmacy residencies. Dr. Wingler earned her Pharm.D. degree from Auburn University’s College of Pharmacy. She completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at East Alabama Medical Center and a PGY2 Infectious Diseases residency at UMMC. Her practice focuses on antimicrobial stewardship in both adult and children, precepting trainees, and engaging in scholarly activities. She serves in the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (SIDP), and is a member of the American Society for Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) and the Mississippi Society of Health-System Pharmacists (MSHP).
