Rabita Aziz is the associate director of advocacy for the Infectious Diseases Society of America. She leads strategic advocacy and global infectious disease policy development for the organization. Her work focuses on leveraging the voices of IDSA member experts to advance the Society’s policy priorities on the federal level, and on advocating to the U.S. government and multilateral institutions for evidence-based programming and increased resources for responses to global HIV, TB, global health security, emerging infections and antimicrobial resistance. She holds a Master’s in Public Health from the George Washington University.
