Clinical Associate Professor

Lindsey Childs-Kean is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Education and Practice with the University of Florida College of Pharmacy. She earned her PharmD degree from University of Florida and completed a PGY1 residency at Tampa General Hospital and a PGY2 Infectious Diseases residency at the South Texas Veterans Healthcare System. She is board certified in pharmacotherapy. Her teaching, research, and practice interests include outpatient infectious disease pharmacotherapy, metacognition and self-regulated learning, and professional development of pharmacy students and new practitioners. Her current practice site is focused on Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy with an interdisciplinary team at UF Health-Shands. She is active in many professional organizations, including SIDP, IDSA, ASHP, and AACP, earning fellowship with ASHP and FSHP. She serves as an Associate Editor for the American Journal of Pharmaceutical Education.
