Dr. Natalie Dailey Garnes is the Medical Director for Antimicrobial Stewardship and an Associate Professor of Clinical Infectious Diseases and Pediatric Infectious Disease at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Garnes cares for children and adults experiencing infections while receiving oncologic care and leads the outpatient parenteral antimicrobial therapy program for MD Anderson. She holds a Master’s in public health (MPH) from the Bloomberg Johns Hopkins School of Public Health and a Master's of science in clinical investigation from Baylor College of Medicine. Her quality improvement work focuses on improving the safety of outpatient parenteral antimicrobial therapy in patients with cancer. Her research focuses on management of infections and aspects of supportive care in children with cancer.
