Darcy Wooten, MD, MS, is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Washington University in St. Louis. She also serves as the ID Fellowship Program Director, Associate Chief of Education, and Director of Educational Initiatives. She did her undergraduate studies in Human Virology at Stanford University before completing medical school and Internal Medicine residency training at UCSF. She earned a Master of Science degree from UC Berkeley and completed her ID fellowship at Harbor UCLA. From 2014-2024, she served as an ID and HIV Attending and the ID Fellowship Program Director at UCSD. Her clinical interests include HIV medicine, general infectious diseases, and medical education.
