Christopher Evans, MD, MPH, AAHIVS is a board-certified infectious disease specialist and Associate Professor of Medicine at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), with appointments in the Divisions of General Internal Medicine & Geriatrics and Infectious Diseases. He serves as the HIV Team Lead Physician at OHSU and Clinical Director of the Oregon AIDS Education and Training Center (AETC), where he provides regional education focused on HIV, STI, and hepatitis C care. His clinical work includes HIV primary care, STI management, hepatitis C treatment, and complex infectious diseases. He also provides clinical care in correctional settings. Dr. Evans is actively involved in medical education and has received multiple Humanism Awards from internal medicine residents in recognition of his commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
