Dr. Kathleen McManus is a physician-scientist and an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Virginia (UVA) in the Division of Infectious Diseases and International Health. She is the Medical Director of the UVA Ryan White HIV Clinic and has been seeing patients in the UVA Ryan White HIV clinic
since 2011. She also attends on the Infectious Diseases inpatient consult team. She received her undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Dartmouth College and completed medical school at Columbia University’s Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. At UVA, she completed internal medicine residency, a master of science in clinical research, and infectious diseases fellowship. She leads an NIAID-funded interdisciplinary team to conduct patient-centered research on the impact of health policies on HIV care and prevention in the United States.
