As a medical student at National Taiwan University (NTU), Yu-Chun aspires to become an internal medicine physician who uses new technologies to find creative solutions to clinical problems. His academic interests focus on applying artificial intelligence to medicine, and he has been involved in projects including machine learning–based antimicrobial resistance prediction using MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry and large language model–based chatbots for patient history taking and decision support.
Beyond research, he has taken on academic leadership roles at NTU and helped coordinate international exchange programs. Fascinated by how speaking different languages can foster deeper understanding and connections, he has pursued proficiency in more than five languages. Outside of academics, he also enjoys classic literature and baseball. Looking ahead, Yu-Chun hopes to build a career that brings together healing, understanding, and innovation.
