Moein Mozafari completed his medical school training in Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Iran.
He then completed his MSc in Lab Medicine and Pathobiology at University of Toronto, Canada under the supervision of Dr. Allison McGeer. His thesis was focused on reducing unnecessary antibiotic use in asymptomatic bacteriuria.
He is currenlty a PGY-3 in the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Rochester General Hospital, Rochester, NY.
