Tope Oyedele is a Senior Medical Director in the Vaccines and Immune Therapies therapeutic area at AstraZeneca, where he plays an important role in the development and advancement of monoclonal antibody programs targeting a broad range of infectious pathogens. With deep expertise as an infectious disease physician, Dr. Oyedele brings significant clinical insight to his work at AstraZeneca, having practiced medicine for over a decade before transitioning to industry.

Before joining AstraZeneca, Dr. Oyedele provided comprehensive care to patients with complex infectious diseases and contributed to clinical research initiatives aimed at improving outcomes for vulnerable populations resulting in multiple publications in the field of HIV prevention. His background includes both inpatient and outpatient teaching, participation in stewardship programs, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to implement evidence-based interventions in infectious disease management.
