Nate Warner is a Transplant Infectious Diseases physician and current Critical Care Medicine fellow at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Health in Richmond, Virginia. He completed medical school and internal medicine residency at VCU, where he also served as Chief Resident, followed by an Infectious Diseases fellowship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
As an ID clinician, he has seen firsthand how point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) improves diagnostic accuracy and bedside decision-making. His academic interests include integrating POCUS into infectious disease practice, improving bedside diagnosis, and caring for pre- and post-transplant patients.
