Rachna Gupta, MD, MPH, FIDSA is a board-certified Infectious Diseases physician working at Sanofi in Vaccines Global Clinical Sciences / R&D based out of Morristown, NJ. She earned her medical degree from State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo and her master’s degree in public health from the Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology and Biostatistics. Following her years in clinical practice, Dr. Gupta decided to change her career path and transitioned to Sanofi vaccines clinical development as a physician scientist. She has served as the clinical lead for several studies for Influenza and COVID vaccines, ranging from first in human studies to late-stage development and licensure activities.
Dr. Gupta has been honored as a Fellow of the Infectious Diseases Society of America (FIDSA), is an alumnus of the 23rd Advanced Course in Vaccinology (ADVAC) and has previously served as Vice-Chair and Chair of the IDSA Mentorship Committee.
