Julia graduated from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY with her nursing degree in 2011 and her Family Nurse Practitioner degree in 2015 and post-master certification in 2024 as a psyciatric nurse practitioner. Julia has worked for the University of Rochester in the Wound Healing Center since 2016 as a Wound Healing Specialist. The clinic is managed by the Department of Plastic Surgery and the providers work closely with Dr. Ted Louie, Clinical Director of the Infectious Disease Department. Julia has worked to expand the program to treating and managing pediatric cases and now spearheads a harm reduction program for patients with substance use disorders. Julia is a military veteran, having served with the Army in Afghanistan and for the Department of Defense in Iraq.
